Grievance & Refund Policy
Updated 05/2026
Purpose and Commitment
This policy outlines our process for receiving, reviewing, documenting, and resolving grievances and refund requests in a clear, timely, ethical, and fair manner. Our goal is to remain open and equitable to all parties involved.
Roles
The responsibility for creating and maintaining inclusive, non-discriminatory training content rests with the CE Director, Tireeka Watson, LCSW, ASAM-C. Tireeka regularly monitors and assesses program materials to ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and applicable professional standards.
All grievances are reviewed and resolved collaboratively by the CE Director, Tireeka Watson, LCSW, ASAM-C, and Social Work Consultant, Taylor Gilbert, LCSW. The Social Work Consultant is involved in the grievance review and resolution process to reduce the potential for bias, provide additional professional perspective, and strengthen decision-making regarding complaints or disputes.
How to Submit a Grievance
Participants who wish to submit a grievance must do so in writing via email.
Grievances should be sent to:
Website: https://www.theforensicinsider.com/ (contact form)
Please include "Grievance" in the subject line
Feedback provided through training evaluation forms is not considered a grievance and will be used solely for quality improvement purposes.
Acknowledgment of Receipt
Participants who submit a grievance will receive an acknowledgment within five (5) business days confirming receipt.
Grievance Review and Documentation Process

Maintain a record of all actions taken to address the grievance
Review grievances whether submitted directly to Anchored in Essence or to another entity
A record of each complaint and its resolution will be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years.
Use of Grievance Information
Grievance information and resolutions will be used internally to improve future trainings, content development, and administrative processes.
Complaints About Training Content
When a complaint is received regarding training content, delivery, or materials, it will be treated as constructive feedback. When appropriate, Anchored in Essence may:
Make edits or updates to training materials

If additional clarification or investigation is needed, a representative of the Company may contact the individual who submitted the grievance to better understand the concern and work collaboratively toward a resolution.
